Article Processing Fee

MJMS publishes all its articles as open access. Authors pay a one-time Article Processing Charge (APC) to cover the costs of administration and management, profesional production of articles in PDF/LaTeX and others. Upon acceptance, a publishing fee will be charged as stated below.

With effect from 1st April 2024 onwards, all new submission will be subjected to RM1200 publication fee (Charged to corresponding author affiliated to an institution in Malaysia) and submission before 1st April 2024 will be subjected to RM800 publication fee (Charged to corresponding author affiliated to an institution in Malaysia) and USD 300 publication fee (Charged to corresponding author affiliated to an institution outside Malaysia) once the paper is accepted for publication.

There are no further charges for rejected articles, no submission charges, and no surcharges based on the length of an article, figures or supplementary data.

Accepted Paper

Charged to corresponding author affiliated to an institution outside Malaysia.
